I've always been a Guitar Rig user, but after using Amplitube, I'm switching
Now I just gotta figure out what to do with my Guitar Rig's Kontrol interface. Is there a way to get it to work with Amplitube?
Not only is the sound quality much more defined, but with Amplitube, it really feels like you're playing through a tube amp in the way it reacts.
The best part so far is that after watching Pro Guitar Shop's demos of Orange amps, I've been dying for the real thing. Being broke, however, puts a major damper on that. After trying the Thunderverb 200 demo from the webstore, I immediately bought it (I also got the Tiny Terror since it was on sale for only 5 credits). The Thunderverb emulator really nails that sort of smooth-Orange crunch that I love.
So for those who have owned it for a long time, what's your favorite amp? How about effects pedals? Anything in particular I should look for from the webstore? I kind of like the Jet City/Solandro amps, but I'm not quite sold on them yet.

[NEWBIE] VST opinions for play along
Hi,
Im a guitar beginner looking for a good and versatile VST software. I also have katana 100 that I cant keep at home, so im looking at the following softwares, Bias FX 2, Overloud TH-U, amplitube 4, Helix native.
Because I'm practicing wide range I really like the idea of Bias FX2 tonecloud to get alot of presets, dunno if the other softwares have as many ready to import. Currently i'm novice with amps/pedals so ready presets are appreciated.
Do you have any recommendations or opinions of the following softwares, or any other suggestions. My main focus is to get alot of good sounding presets for covering metal songs/to play along. Not really looking to create a sound of my own or recording at the moment.
